The activities of this Floating facilities global performance business line is based on the prediction of the loads and response of moored (or not) floating structures.

Our scope of services for floating facilities global performance includes:

Our activities are backed by a team of experienced engineers with consistent background in hydrodynamics and structural analysis gained on projects.

Either within larger design scopes or as standalone work, Principia has established significant expertise and a solid understanding of numerical modelling in the context of defining floating facilities motions and loads in
deep to shallow water.

In addition, the capabilities to master Navier-Stokes tool like our EOLETM software enables us to provide high level expertise into specific problems. This helps investigating phenomena as sloshing, viscous damping, water impactor complex fluid flows.

Principia uses state of the art proprietary software such as Diodore™, DeepLines™, EOLE™ (marketed and developed by Principia) or ABAQUS™, NSO-FASTRUDL™, and ISYMOST™.
